Mini me

Shopping is forever fun. =P I would love to shop one full day but I get tired from walking so much. I find that I tend to look for seat after lunch and sit down. Or if I continue to walk, I will walk slower. It's tiring actually.

Anyway, walked around the mall during the weekend and this mini monopoly was on sale. Bought it and am sharing the good news here. Hoho.. the money paper is very small and cute. =P Hope to play soon on the bed. Just not now because darling is having his exams soon.



Ok, so some of my readers know that I am working in the insurance industry. It is quite interesting to know more. It is not just life insurance quotes. Wait, I didn't learn anything about life insurance quotes though. Hmm.. I could do my own research about it myself though so yeah.

I thought it was hard to get them into my head in the first place. But it wasn't easy either. I made an effort to understand them since insurance plays a big part in our lives. =P

What should I put for my title?

No, we didn't buy wii. Rented it from the video store to test it out if it was worth buying. I say it is ok. With only one game to play for the weekend, it gets boring after a while. Somemore, my right arm was sore the next day.

The weekend activities were fun and heavy though quite tiring. Now, both my arms are sore. Wii : table tennis, archery, bowling, golf, frisbee, canoeing, cycling, swordplay, power cruising, basketball, wakeboarding, air sports on Friday and Saturday night, swimming on Saturday and tennis on Sunday plus some cleaning session too. First time playing tennis, I lost all 3 balls. Two flew into the bush one side of tennis court and the other one flew into the garden beside church. All were never found. It was good exercising though.

One more week to go before starting on new job. =) I realise that I always want to correct myself whenever I read back my previous posts.

Addicted

I told sis that I don't want to play this game but in the end, I ended up playing. Darling played with me too. He has been trading ingredients to get to higher level while I fed the employees during the day. =P

Weather is miserable outside. It's not nice to throw rubbish in the rain. I hate getting wet, reasons being that I used to get soak in the rain when I was younger. I am over that. Report is going well so far. I am writing up the observation and the interpretation. It's not entirely finished yet. I just started typing all up from the back of my head. The discussion is not typed up.

I think my blog is getting boring-er. Well, expect that in the next few weeks as finals are coming up. Oh expect more posts about finals and stressing too. Muahaha..

The restaurant city game is up to level 17. Hey, we took one week to level up that. Fast huh?

Right, I shall get back to typing up my report. I feel so tired getting up early in the morning to type up report.

Distracting

This game caught my eye 3 days ago and I started playing non-stop. That waste a bit of my time but at least I don't feel like I needed to study or go classes since I play too much. I mentioned that it waste my time because I feel I could have done other things such as reading or blog-hopping or watch my Air Crash Investigation series. I haven't finish watching all the seasons yet. I do have other series like, Lie to Me to watch but I decide to follow on tv instead of watching on computer. I wouldn't have anything else to watch in the later weeks  if I finish watching on the episodes in one go.

I took from fashion blog. The heels are just so amazing. I am so into heels and yet I can't wear them walking around. It hurts when I try walking, even just for 5 minutes. I guess I am not a heels person.

This one is really nice. The thin (what do you call them?) will definitely make it hard to walk on. I would most likely fall within seconds. Hehe..

Gaming

Tetris game can be very addictive once you started playing. When sherp was introduced this game by Ah Yuan koko to beat him, Ialso felt like beating him. So I decided to play the game. I used to play this game when I was younger, thus it makes it even more fun.

Lately, I have been into playing computer games. And the first semester is about to start soon. So somebody has to stop me from playing too much. =P

Blogging will be becoming more frequent from now on, besides going on events or outings with friends and darling and study. Afterall, blogging is also another form of expressing ourselves. Yea, that is right. Almost everyone who blogs says that.

Chinese New Year

Staying overseas and not feeling the CNY mood? Well, here's how my mum decide to lighten everyone's mood. She has this CNY songs on almost everyday and has the decorations in the living room.

You should do the same, I am sure you will have the CNY mood. =) It makes you look forward to tomorrow.

We also played Jim Rummy. I think that is how you spell it. It was fun playing and learning. See the coach? He's teaching. Hehehe..

Don't lose..

A little more sneek peek to the game that I have been playing. I was just talking to Sherp about this game. She is currently stuck on level 12 and ending soon. Nanotay is still stuck at level 8. I just went up to level 8. Going to collect all the lives so I won't die at level 8. It's quite hard cos the ball keep rolling very fast. Anyway, my point was that sherp got it from ning jie. Nanotay got it from ning jie. I got it from ivy. Soon, I will be going back to NZ and I think this is going to spread around in NZ. Hmm.. this game is going global soon enough. Hehehe..

See behind the screen? I am trying to play the game and blog or check emails at the same time. Actually, it's quite distracting but I don't mind doing that. Hehehe..

Win win win

This game, tumblebug is quite addictive once you get the hang of playing it. You can just curse yourself for not being fast enough and lose the game. I got this game from Ivy. Even Sherp also played it. Apparently, they got it from her. They also play as well. Hmm.. this is the game that I said makes me stress. Win win win.. don't lose.. argh.. now I lose. Something like that lah.

Stressss

You know what, when you're studying, it's enough that you are stressing yourself to study better or to memorise things. But guess what, when I am playing games, I stress too. Sigh, I was playing tumblebugs last  night and stressing myself not to lose the game. I think I was saying stupid when I lost and Sherp just commented that, it's ok it's just a game. I just laughed. Actually I shouldn't stress myself now. But this is a game lah. Aiyo..

That's not the game I was stressing over. I just felt like playing some computer games so I played this game, Roller Coaster Tycoon, apparently, I am to build the theme park so I can reach some goal/objective in a year. It's cool to be building your theme park and watch the money increases. Hahaha.. fun to be rich in the game.

Hehe.. oh yea, you know what, I came home from shopping today with mum to find Sherp coming up to me, put her hands on my shoulder and gave me a peck on the cheek. I must have look blankly at her for a second and then I went to the laptop to see that she has been chatting to darling and was asked to help pass it on. I thought it was funny because I would have yell at Ivy if it was her. Hahaa.. Check out term life insurance on a side note.

Home Part 3

I don't have any more photos of Dubai's new Terminal 3 but I have got other random photos though.

I was really thirsty when I arrived so I walked around looking at the shops and managed to buy a drink for myself. Mango mania. I used pounds to pay for the drink for £3. Not that bad, right? Hehehe.. I thought there would be more seats around in this new terminal but no.. I had to sit on the floor. Sigh.. Even lynnwei also asked if there are more seats, but no...

The flight from Dubai to Doha was short but bumpy ride. I got quite a bad headache from it. However, I tried not to let that headache get to me. I still manage to stay up whole day.

After I arrived, because I brought ps2, Sherp immediately brought upstairs to the living room to start playing. She just can't wait. =P

As I said that I toured the house immediately, I saw that every bathroom has 2 sinks, I commented that there is no need to fight to use the sink in the morning and so everyone must get up at the same time. No excuses. Muahaha..

I still haven't finish packing everything. I actually did not pack anything at all yesterday and whole day today. Had a nice dinner with darling last night, it was our 4th month anniversary. =) After looking at the stars, went straight to Mer's place. Had a girls' night too. It was good.

Darling bought me this teddy bear. So cute.. :P

This was taken during the fireworks 2 weeks ago. Darling was trying to make firework 'bomb'. =P

I think I have space to put in the ps2 so I guess, sherp and veep don't have to worry about me not bringing them over. It's just that I think the fragile things will knock each other. Know what, PS3 are getting cheaper. Maybe we can buy them in 2 years time? =P

Rants

Hmm.. lately, I am finding it hard to fall asleep at night and also falling back to sleep in the morning when I would suddenly woke up. I chatted to sis last night and guess what, they already have a car. And the car looks like this.

It's subaru legacy though it doesn't look sports-ish. Sis just showed me this photo. So I haven't seen the car itself yet. I mean in photo.

Last night, I tried playing Word Challenge again.

Same old thing - I lost. I am giving up, trying to beat the all-time score. I will try again in the holidays. =) Veep and Calvin are so crazy, beating each other's score.

So, what name do you think I should give to a sub-domain for myself? I am thinking of getting one. =)

Lazier

I am getting lazier each day. I just finished reading on term four notes on geology and going to start reading on term three notes soon.

I find myself blog hopping everyday. In between my notes reading though. It was just little breaks. No wonder I get bored so much easily now because there's not a lot of new posts to read.

I love using my colour pens to write those exams answers when I am really into my study. =)

Wii is really fun to play. I played bowling and tennis. Oh yea, it belongs to Uncle Martin. =) I got a lot of spare for bowling. This is rare because I am really not that good in real life bowling. And tennis? Hmm.. I can hit the ball too. Now, my arms muscle hurts. That just prove I am so unfit. I only swung my arms around. So, one of my main goals for the upcoming holidays is to exercise and get fit. Rght, I shall bury my head into my books and will be back here soon. Again.

On another note, who else is playing the Word Challenge on facebook? Ivy just beat my score. Ok, not really my score but still.. ok, that will be another one of my goals, to beat her score. I just checked facebook and someone beat my score. !!!

She came

I will start the whole story from the time lynnwei came to London. She arrived on the afternoon on Wednesday. Showered and ate for a while before I took her around Ealing Broadway. She did not end up buying anything because some stuff is quite expensive. Sherp turned up much later and took us both to see her boss’ shops and her advertisement work which was placed outside the shop.

That night, I took out the candy floss machine as I did promise lynnwei that she will have her turn to make candy floss.

I think Lynnwei is going to upload more photos in her blog or she may put them in facebook or is it multiply?

p/s there are more updates to come. It just takes me time to choose and do a bit of changes before uploading them.

Practice

On Saturday afternoon after my exams, I was to go for kayak practice. As I haven't kayak before, I was very scared that I would overturn. For one thing, whenever I go on boats, I would normally be trying to balance. I would aah.. if the boat moves to the right and left constantly. Anyway, I was to practice so I can kayak on the sea water on the following Monday for a trip to Abel Tasman.

This is a photo from the laser strike that we went. As some of our friends were leaving NZ, we planned an evening of dinner and a game of laser strike. I got tagged 9 times and hit 7 times. Lousy huh? I did not run but I stayed at one place most of the time and as a result, I got pain muscle on both my thighs.

This is my tag that I have to bring to rec centre when I wanted to watch the games. Tag is quite big, though.
I am not sure how all the games are organized. One thing I can say about badminton is that it is so unorganized. There were so many clashes and the admin people has to arrange the clashes last minute. I was wondering, what were they doing before the games. Should have just arrange the schedule properly before the games started. Well, at least now they know. But I doubt anyone would want to volunteer to do this after this incident. Hmph..

Last one

Today is the last day of BERSATU games. Again, did not take any photos. Woke up at 7am, Em overslept, good thing she did not lock her door. I went in to wake her up. We cycled there today. So tired. I wanted to go back to sleep but I know my determination of wanting to watch the badminton matches is strong enough to wake me up. Besides, it was the last day.

The matches finishes on time today. Good. They are probably having the medal ceremony now. I did not go. I don't want to. I'm lazy and not interested. Besides, I can choose to go or not to go. I came back to check mail and go online.

Did not eat breakfast these few days also. Who cares. It was in a hurry anyway. We have to be there on time. Tonight, there is the dinner for BERSATU games.

Oh yea.. I met up with Lynnx01's junior from Otago. It was really nice to meet her. I didn't know she is popular. Seems like almost everyone I asked knows her. Somemore, they are from Intec so they said they know her. Hmm.. maybe that is why.

Anyway, will update again about the dinner tomorrow.

Will rest on Thursday and packing for our trip to Dunedin on Friday. More posts coming up for the trips to Dunedin. ><

This is probably the last thing I wanted to volunteer. I don't want to help out with this kind of stuff anymore. I did not do much and why was I feeling so tired? I helped a bit for the admin, scores of badminton and answering questions/random msgs from Wellington people. That is all I did. Maybe it was the waking up early and not having enough sleep. Sigh.. I want my beauty sleep.
