I have yet to look at all the photos we took from our holiday. Busy busy busy. Started work today and there are some changes and these will take some time to go through. I am to learn new things too. So yeah, this month, I will be quite busy plus things to clear up at home.

Shall add in something here for sneak peek into what I am going to write about the holiday I had. We had our first year anniversary this month. Had dinner with relatives to mark the first year anniversary. I am not sure if they knew it was our anniversary. Hmm.. maybe another big celebration for the next anniversary? Hopefully the 10th because I think that should mark a decade of marriage, hmm.. a 10th anniversary gift? Something for me to think about, huh..

Patient with the photos yeah, since I am a little busy this week and my hard disk is with friend since I asked for movies. Hohoho..

Sorry, you have to turn your head to see the picture. I tried to rotate before using mac but it won't let me. Not going to waste more time to try again.

So anyway, we had a work function in city last Friday. I wasn't sure how to make my make up thick and nice like those celebrities. I didn't want to put too much in case it didn't turn out nice. I know I suck at make ups and I never bother to learn. Hohoho.. I guess it's the laziness. I don't bother to use it everyday because I have to waste my time to put it on and then take it out. Yeah, laziness again.

 I see a lot of signs on floors being slippery everywhere. Maybe those businesses should check out this non skid site on making the place safer to walk about. Touch wood, I haven't experience falling down from slippery floor. I do not want to fall because the butt is going to be painful. Or the face get smacked if fall forward. Ish... especially if you are holding food or something that is breakable.

Birthday dinner

The week went alright with work and everything. It was darling's birthday on Thursday the week before and we went out for dinner at the Yamagen restaurant.

I know it's not my birthday but I get to choose where to eat. Hoho he was like, anything. So can't really ask him what he really wants to eat. Always ask me what I want to eat.

So during dinner, I overheard some customers saying that the restaurant we were in has the best service and food. We were all seated around the teppan yaki table and watching the chef cooking right in front of us.

The chef did some performance with the cooking while serving the food. Lol it was fun to watch the chef. Someone ask him if he enjoyed working in this environment and he said yeah, he prefers customer contact.

Winnie the pooh

My head feels like a ticking bomb, ready to explode anytime. I have been having headaches since afternoon. Feel faint at one point too.

It's a sign that I am getting sick soon. I better not overdo myself. I didn't think that I would not have enough sleep. I thought I slept well. I woke up at 8am and went to work at 8.30. Fast eh, I mean of me getting ready. But of course without eating. That includes walking there as well. I don't think it was because I did not eat breakfast.

How about other times that I did not eat breakfast? I did not feel headaches or tired.

Maybe I should start heading to gym soon. That way, I won't feel so tired by the end of the day.

I ran out of bananas for breakfast, which is why I did not eat breakfast today.

Ok, I feel like I am jumping from one topic to another.

I got my first assignment report for geology today. I actually got a Stats project this week but the lecturer hasn't given us the details. He just asked us to think about the topics and choose to pair up with somebody. I guess I will have approach somebody soon.

Just thought I put in some photo to make the post looks interesting. Muahaha..

Check out Subway franchise. One of my friends work at Subway. Hmm.. maybe I can consider trying out that kind of work experience? Hehehe..

Flaky ice cream

Last Thursday night, Sherp, darling, dad and I went out for dinner. I guess it was for my birthday as dad paid for all of us. I ordered honey chicken, darling ordered breakfast food, dad ordered lamb and sherp ordered chicken with something (couldn't remember now). When it was dessert time, dad and I were so full so only darling and sherp ordered. But guess what, sherp's dessert looked like this.

It was yum when I took a bite.

Just look at the flaky ice cream. It was so tempting even though I was full. But being me and wanting to eat, I ordered one for myself. I managed to finish it too. Talk about being full. Ish.. I really can eat a lot if I want to. No wonder the fats came out.

Birthday

Thank you all for wishing me birthday wishes on facebook and in text messages. It was awesome. It actually doesn't matter if I don't get presents, just as long as friends, families, etc remembers and wishing me. That's enough for me. =)

I had lunch with Mer, Em, Liyana and Anu at Nandos. It wasn't just about catch up or about my birthday. We were actually celebrating all of our birthdays with Em in Dec, Mer and Li in January and mine on the day itself. Anu's birthday is coming up in May too.

Then, the night was dinner with darling. =)

I got presents from darling. He bought some clothes for me. Hmm.. I shall upload those pictures in fashion blog. It will take me some time as uni is starting and I am also working on Monday. I shall also upload the pictures of my birthday cake. =)

Eve's night

Which image is nicer? Your opinion.

I bet everyone has CNY eve dinner night with families right? I mean if you are with your family. I don't mean to offend those who don't have their family by their side now.

We have one less person as Sherp took the photo. Dinner was alright.

The mall was busy with people walking about, some window shopping and some doing real shopping. But it was quite quiet in the morning when I went though. The business hours here usually starts from 10am to 1pm and starts again from 4pm to 10pm. It's different compared to business hours in Malaysia and NZ.

I shall stop babbling here and get back to food.

I went to another field trip for six days. Having friends along made the trip better as I don't like the walking and the work assessment.

I helped a bit for the Malaysian ball coming up at the end of August. The photo showed how nicely decorated the dinner hall that night.

This image was taken when I went for another mini-one-day field trip for one of the assessment.

Before the end of the term, we had a party to get together before everyone started having exams and heading for summer holidays.

ICF-ers had a retreat trip to Hamner Springs in mid Nov. It was a good opportunity as I haven't been to Hamner Springs before.

I am back to blogging about fun stuff. =) Malam was good on Saturday night. Will upload some nice photos up soon. Let me just put up few photos from family here last time. I didn't get the chance to put up some nice and funny ones.



These were taken somewhere another lake, the lake beside Lake Tekapo. I forgot what is the name for the other lake, it's something long and hard to spell it. I don't really know how to pose ay.. I was smiling all the time and not posing properly.



Yea, these are with sisters at different place. Both at Lake Tekapo but one at Cashmere. Dad wanted to see the views of mountain. =)



And finally, family photos. =) Love it! I should print out the nice ones and stick it in my room. Hehehe..

Hmm.. this week, I am going to relax and try to catch up with things. Maybe I can just browse internet.
