I turn

So yeah, I never said anything about my birthday. Thank you to family, relatives and friends for texting me or facebooking me on my birthday. Oh and also for the presents. Hehehe.. I love them. That is my cake above and presents from cousin in law and aunt. Lol don't think there is such word as cousin in law but anyway, you get what I mean.

Exercised today on my abs. I don't know if it is getting smaller as I only just started 2 weeks ago. Oh this means I am going to miss my swimming lessons. I really look forward to swimming every Friday. Darling is going to try some male enhancement supplements. He can't gain weight just to build muscles on body. Lol, I would love to be someone who can eat and eat without worrying gaining fat.

I do watch out for what I eat. But I don't starve myself. No, starving myself is not for me. I feel faint once I start to feel very hungry. I don't have high tolerance for pain so yeah, I try to be careful all the time and I do not make myself suffer.

The start of my year

Damn, I actually drafted out this post and lost it when I was about to post it. Stupid internet connection. All because of the earthquake.

Darling looks awkward in the photo above. What a start to my 24th year, huh? It will be something that I will never forget in my life. So far, I have experience 2 earthquakes but one is more destructive. House is ok just messy and the water tank leaks. Oh it's not leaking so much right now though.

We were talking the other night with aunt that we must really cherish and enjoy our life as much as possible. Like this earthquake, it was something unexpected and some people who were in city that day lost their life. Sigh.. now I am wondering if anyone is watching the earthquake news.

I drove around trying to buy milk today and they ran out of it. Lol I never had to do this and now.. I was just saying that we better stock up more food. Not sure if best creatine powder works for us but let's have a look la.

A year older

Birthdays are great, you get to spend time with your family, relatives and friends, that is if all of them are there. It used to be a great deal for me because I receive presents and attention. Now, it's just a normal day of when I turn a year older.

I can't feel myself turn any wiser. It's just because I am with myself everyday that I don't notice. Hoho..

Yes, it is rabbit year. It's supposed to be my year so hopefully this year will be good for me. =)

Just about to start my 24th year and the earthquake happened. Lousy start to my 24th year. Could be a good year to getting fit and exercise. Hohoho.. that way, I don't need to take any weight loss pills. Can exercise more since can't go anywhere. We're urged to stay at home. The house was in such a mess yesterday. Put them back properly, seconds later, another aftershock topple them over. What's the point of putting the shoes and the shelves/books where they belong.

Birthday cakes are yum

Supposed to post about this a week ago but was busy. Anyway, sis-in-law and I celebrated with darling on the night of his birthday. Bought a cake for him to blow. Went out to eat before cake and had a blast dinner. Yum, and yup, used the wedding voucher to pay for dinner. Really worth it. Thank you to our friends who gave us the voucher. Really grateful =)



Two days later (the weekend), we went out dinner with friends at Burritos Brothers. Food was alright, something new to try. After that, went back to friend's house to watch tv. Something all of us have not done for a while, hanging out. I miss those days when we used to hang out together so much. =P

More updates

So here are my birthday cards. Hmm.. the blue card is from family. Handmade card. I love the fact that sis is so creative in making cards, I think she can even make them as a part time job. Sometimes I think she is more talented than I am. I am no creative person even though I am into making cards. In fact, most of the time she suggested doing something and I go along with it or help her, that is if I feel like so. =P

So what was my birthday present? Well, I don't know what I wanted when darling asked me so I got him to pay for my eye serum cream from The Body Shop. =P I have been into eye cream lately. Maybe I should check out this website at http://www.eyecream.org/. Seriously, I could ask the impossible for birthday presents. Try asking if you want to. In person or through chat though. Muahahaha..

Yay!! I got my own singstar to sing. =) The transformer is darling's. He wants to add in to his DVD collection. Well, it was on sale so I guess that's fine since he insisted that it's a guy thing. Is it? I don't have brothers so I wouldn't know. I do love that movie though. When the first movie came out, I went to watch it in the cinema. Well, it's an action movie so obviously you would watch in the cinema. Good surround system and bigger screen some more.

Quite late in putting up this birthday cake photo. Hehehe.. Anyway, I shall write more about last weekend. I went to watch an orchestra concert. Was my first time so I was really fascinated. =P

What can you use with used travel trailers? Hey, how come I never thought of using trailers whenever I moved my stuff around? Oh I just remember a friend mentioning that if you get a trailer, your car needs to have the tow bar. I am not sure if it is very easy to get tow bar at the back of the car nowadays. Hmph..

On the day

Sunday was hectic. Had brunch and headed off to watch Valentine's Day at the cinema. After lunch, headed to Ilam to meet up with friend. After that, dinner at lone star. Yay!! Some photos taken at Lone Star. Desserts was after that. No other friends were around so we ended up blowing the cake at home with Emma. Thinking a year older was ok but it comes to the number, I just thought, gosh time passes so fast.



Just last week when I was at work, I turned to the mirror to straighten myself. I saw my reflection and thought, hey where am I. I was wearing work clothes and I asked myself how did I get here. The last time I really look at myself closely was during university time - I was still studying. I really have achieve one thing in life, which was to finish a degree. Really, I didn't think I would graduate. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't looking down on myself. I just didn't realise how fast the time goes. I usually set myself goals and try to achieve them. Getting a degree is one of the biggest goal in my life so far.

Now I have jumped into working life. What is my next goal? I don't know yet. I haven't thought about it. I am looking forward to graduate, seeing my family and have fun. I shall think about setting goals after that, yeah? Setting something for myself to achieve will, at least make me look forward to future otherwise life seems meaningless. Well, that is how I see lah. Guess what, I feel like bringing back some work to do for the night, want to read extra notes about insurance quotes on the insurance risks. But of course, I cannot as I would need to use the work programme. If I do, I would have no life because work is all I think about. So yea, I guess throw that thought away yea?

The cake was delicious. =) I invited a few friends to come over though some can't make it. I think I would need read diet pill review to get them if I keep on eating chocolate cake or even chocolate itself. I was told that chocolate is not fat but it can still gives you more fat. Doesn't it??

Flaky ice cream

Last Thursday night, Sherp, darling, dad and I went out for dinner. I guess it was for my birthday as dad paid for all of us. I ordered honey chicken, darling ordered breakfast food, dad ordered lamb and sherp ordered chicken with something (couldn't remember now). When it was dessert time, dad and I were so full so only darling and sherp ordered. But guess what, sherp's dessert looked like this.

Just look at the flaky ice cream. It was so tempting even though I was full. But being me and wanting to eat, I ordered one for myself. I managed to finish it too. Talk about being full. Ish.. I really can eat a lot if I want to. No wonder the fats came out.

So, that's my birthday cake. I didn't expect to get a cake. After coming back from dinner, I straightaway went in the room to go online and to watch some movies with darling. But he got me to come out and there's the cake. What a surprise. =)

Birthday

Thank you all for wishing me birthday wishes on facebook and in text messages. It was awesome. It actually doesn't matter if I don't get presents, just as long as friends, families, etc remembers and wishing me. That's enough for me. =)

I had lunch with Mer, Em, Liyana and Anu at Nandos. It wasn't just about catch up or about my birthday. We were actually celebrating all of our birthdays with Em in Dec, Mer and Li in January and mine on the day itself. Anu's birthday is coming up in May too.

Then, the night was dinner with darling. =)

I got presents from darling. He bought some clothes for me. Hmm.. I shall upload those pictures in fashion blog. It will take me some time as uni is starting and I am also working on Monday. I shall also upload the pictures of my birthday cake. =)

I did not forget that she is turning 14. I just forgot her best friend is turning 15. Oops. She is turning into a teenager and knowing even more stuff. I was told by darling that her mind is corrupted. Well, darling saw comments from her photos between her and her friends. Well, I will find out when I am back.

Hmm.. I am wondering if I would still get her annoying voice and random hugs and mischevious acts when I am home.. *points* don't even think about doing that and don't tickle me when I am washing the dishes. I will still yell at you if you do that.

So embarrassing

What is more embarrassing? I know my cousin and my sister are both turning 14 this year. My sister's friend or my God-sister also has the same birthdate as my sister but they are a year apart. I just realised that. So, anyway, I gave her 14th birthday card. How embarrassing is that?!!! Learn from this, do not ever give a number birthday card unless you are really sure. Actually, I thought I was so sure that she is turning 14 till they mentioned it. Sigh.. What a dumbhead.

Belated

Last night, Em, Mer, Cal and I celebrated Sharz's birthday in casino. I was the last one coming in the door. The security immediately came over to check my ID. Yea, I know it's normal because I probably look like I am 14 years old. I think the security wasn't going to check on Sharz and Cal but since they waited for me, they had to show their ID. Hahaha.. now you still want to walk beside me? Em and Mer didn't get their ID checked as they walked in first and immediately went upstairs. Dinner was good, oh yea, there was another friend who came along though.

I, actually have quite a few topics to talk about here but I seem to have blank mind everytime I just started typing in here. All the previous posts with photos must be really boring. Hmm.. actually, I am currently in uni, discussing over the oral presentation I am having on Tuesday. Maybe I can use my laptop to present but then again, I would need a certain cable to connect to the projector. Aih.. I think it's too complicated. Maybe I won't bother. But I saw this website on CAT6 and it would be good if I can find something to connect. =)

lately

Have been busy with assignments lately. I have been making myself going to uni early in the morning to do assignments. It is really a good habit. At least I get up from my warm bed and was doing something useful. Last week Tuesday, I was almost late to class because I woke up at 9, ate breakfast and hang my clothes (I put clothes in the washing machine the previous night and only remembered at midnight when I was so warm in bed.) My class was at 10am and I reach class just in time to see my lecturer started lecturing. But the bad thing is I cannot walk in without being noticed.

Sigh... lately, the internet decides to make me mad and crazy every time I connected laptop to uni network. Just today my friend kindly told me that I could download the programme to laptop so it wouldn't be that slow. Great.. =) I don't have to go uni so early now. Oh.. but I think it's still better because coursemates/friends are around so they could help out if I get stuck with the code.



Oh..2 weeks ago, we (li, em, anu and I) decided to celebrate her birthday early because 28th is really near to exams. Oh did I already mentioned this? Ok, I'll let the photos do the actions.
