Updates

Time really flies fast when you are enjoying your time, anywhere and anytime. It has been a week since I arrived London. Well, not exactly a week today but tomorrow. I basically just sleeps, eat, watch tv and go online. What a lazy thing to do. I should do something useful. I did help my mum out by vacuuming the house and washing the dishes. I accompanied mum to groceries shopping and spending a bit of time at library. I also read newspapers. Now, it should be useful? Hmm.. I hope so.

Anyway, on Saturday, it was my sis 2's birthday and we started out the day with a call from a friends family in NZ to wish happy birthday to Kim. Both had birthday wishes from each other as their birthdays falls on the same day. It was such a co-incidence having the same birthday date. Actually, both are a year apart. Hehe.

Sis 2 had a friend sleepover that night. Sis 1 asked her friends over to spend time at the same time and decide to go ice skating. In the end, they changed their plans to watch movie and play bowling. But, the session they want to book is at 11pm. It was only 8 something that time. So, knowing the kids couldn't stay up that long, we decided to just play the arcade games and play pool. 10pm, we decided to leave for home and walked to a nearby restaurant for supper, leaving sis 2 and her friend at home. After supper, we all came back to play games. As I was still jetlag, I went to bed early.

Dad came back the next day. Sis 1 got a new laptop and sis 2 got a new handphone. Wow, I got to see my daddy. :) His first reaction when he saw me is wow, you look like one of the 'orang putih'. Haha. Anyway, can't wait to see the Wong family on Saturday. It's Monday now so 4 more days.

Hectic Week... Not

What a hectic week.

Actually, not really. Could say it was a boring week. I had nothing to do ever since I came back from my trip. I basically just stayed in my room during the day and go out at night. I was waiting for a call. Why is that? Er.. long story.

Let me shorten it. I basically went to apply for a job at Student Job Search (SJS) and called the company. Then, they called me on the day I left for my trip and left a message saying that they will call me back. So, I waited nervously every day, resulted in me staying in my warm, comfortable room from 9 to 5pm.

Then, just as the last day of the holidays came, the call arrived. I shot up from my bed to answer the call. Yes, I was to go in the office to discuss about the job.

Later that day, I told my family about it. The next morning, I got an email from my parents. They don't want me to take on the job just in case.....
I felt sad for the company to lose me in just one day so I asked my friend if he wanted to take the job. So far, I haven't heard anything from my friend. I do hope it goes well.

Back to study and uni, classes started yesterday. As usual, I was confused and sleepy when it comes to lectures. All are new to me. It will take me few days to get over and started getting the ideas in.

I just had a haircut yesterday. Very short. I was told that it is a perfect time to do re-touch on my hair as the re-growth hair is a good length. It cost $62 including student discount. So, I was thinking if I do it now, then I would need to re-touch again in Oct. I am still thinking whether I should do it or not.

Well, I thought my hair was too long and needed a cut so I went to Bush Inn salon. It cost me NZD20 to cut into this....

I look so weird with this haircut. I am a bit concious of what people will think when I walked around. Em said I look like a Chinadoll.
