i feel sad

My rice cooker broke. I did not do it. There's silver dots inside.



You see that? So basically my rice cooker only lasts about 2 and half years. To think I would do that to my own rice cooker? I want my things to last so I only have my suspicions that my flatmates used my rice cooker with silver spoons. Ish.. it's not that I am complaining much about it but really, don't you know better not to use silvery things to go into non-stick stuff?

I should probably check out industrial equipment for any uses in plumbing stuff or even gardening work. Talking about that, the plumber has been at the new house everyday. Trying to finish some small jobs that he left behind. It's not that he is not good at his job, I guess maybe he's older so he tend to forget about them. I don't blame him for that. But you know what, I think he got a little bit annoyed at us, asking him to check out little jobs and also other stuff. Hehe.. but he is paid afterall for all the work. Besides, if he does a very good job, he will be recommended to others.

That was so long time ago. Hehehe..

Anyway, holidays are coming to an end. Sigh.. did I really enjoy my holidays bumming around? I guess I did. Classes are starting next week and wait, that means results are coming out before classes started. Let me check, oh it's this Friday. Aaah.. it's scary to know my results. I hope I pass them all. The good grade doesn't matter to me, just as long as I pass.

Oh yea, cooking has been a bliss too. Not that it's hard. I just use packets and mix them up. It was stir-fry most of the time with rice or pasta. Hmm.. It was alright but I don't like my cooking. It can be too salty or not salty. Am I expecting too much? Or am I expecting myself to be like my mum? Maybe I am. I try to improve though. I want to make beef ball soup. =) I seem to remember mum giving me recipe for it and I am supposed to look through my email? It's taking my time. Aaah.. I should make the beef ball soon before my holidays totally ends.

Maybe I should check wholesale clothes since I do love clothes. It would be cheaper to get wholesale than getting individual at shops in the mall. Oh wait, I should tell my cousins about this. I am sure a whole lot of us would like it. Somemore, we can mismatch it and put them up on our fashion blog to share with other people. :D

I had this idea on heating up chicken and sweet corn from a can yesterday when I did some groceries. I thought, I can add the frozen sweet corn that I had in the freezer and add in some mushroom that I bought as well. I cooked some rice as well. Not exactly cooking in the pot. I use the rice cooker. So, it should be the rice cooker cooking the rice. Hehe..

It turned out really nice actually. Anu likes our lunch very much. I kept some for darling's lunch tomorrow. =) Finally I am doing some cooking huh? Well, normally I would put the nuggets and frozen potato nuggets into oven. That's not called cooking because you don't do anything at all.

I don't like cooking. Weird huh? Normally girls or shall I say women likes to cook. Okay, maybe not all likes to cook. But most of the time, women do cooking at home for the family, right? But for now, darling is doing all the cooking. Well, I helped at times to prepare the ingredients. I guess I will be doing cooking after I am completely done with studies. I feel that I should be since women usually do cooking at home.
