Our Trip

I put up some photos in facebook and some were uploaded too. It's better to see it there if you want to see a bigger version. Anyway, I enjoy the trip very much even though it is pretty tiring to walk the trek and I didn't really get enough sleep.

The backpacker place was not too bad but the people who share the dorm room with us didn't switch off the lights and one of them snore. I didn't get woken up by the snore though. It was the lights. Yes, I cannot sleep with lights on and noise. But I think I would fall asleep eventually if I am super tired.

The views were super awesome. You should have seen the night sky. I was speechless when I looked up the sky. I could see the blurred comets moving and the stars twinkle. I would sleep outside gazing at the sky if I have the time and if I wasn't so tired. =P

We tried to take a photo of the night sky with the use of manual camera. Not sure if it turn out nice or not as we haven't seen it. It's with darling's cousin. She will be back in Chch in two weeks time.

Apparently, retailers are planning to have another Boxing Day sales in early February. If you haven't heard, earthquake came to disturb us on Boxing Day and cause few shops to close. I will be around to check out what's on sale though I won't be buying. Hehe.. maybe window shopping instead. I am more interested in checking out the laptop deals though because laptops are getting cheap and darling is thinking of upgrading his computer. His computer is 5 years old already.
