From the newspaper

This piece of writing is taken from the newspaper on 5 February 2005. It is a fictionalized account by an author but it is based directly on disaster scenarios that civil authorities will happen and for which they are actively planning. It is said the earthquake will range from 7.5-magnitude that will cause widespread damages and significant loss of life and injuries. Even worse, the quake described would be followed by a tsunami. Wellington city would be the worst affected local authority area. People will have to look after themselves for the few days after the “THE BIG ONE” because damage to the city infrastructure will probably be so great, nobody will come for help.

Since I have been back in New Zealand, there have been 9 earthquakes series happening. The highest magnitude ever experienced is 5.5. Last Tuesday, there has been one more earthquake. It is said these series of earthquakes will lead to a big one.

It is also predicted that “THE BIG ONE” will be next Friday or the next 50 years. So, please pray for whoever your loved ones in the Wellington area.
