Ooops, I haven't even mention more about our second day in Singapore. The Universal Studio closed at 7pm so after that, we headed to Marina Bay Sands to go up the observatory as we didn't get to go up the day before.
It was really high and I felt quesy from looking down. It could be from the rides that I had that day but I wasn't sure as I also have a little fear of heights. Anyway, what I was really annoyed is the fact that we bought a package that includes the entrance ticket and a photo. When we got up to the top, the photo package meant that they took a fake background and photoshop just right in front of you.
Now, the entrance ticket cost $20 and the photo extra cost $5.00. So I paid $10 for 2 fake background photos. I thought they would have taken the real background for us. How stupid and lousy. I mean, I wouldn't expect a five star hotel to do such thing. I should have complain about it to the reception. In fact, I am going to go to the website and complain about it. It closed already by the time we wanted to complain.
We had supper plus dinner at the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall food court. The food wasn't too bad. Darling didn't even get served when he wanted to order. The person just kept serving the other customers. Ok so I learnt that there is no queue there and people normally just squeeze in but it's just so annoying. Oh yeah, there was this skating rink at the food court but guess what, it's not ice but just plastic layer. Their furniture probably are Adirondack furniture type since they cut cost a lot on maintaining the ice. Lol
We took the taxi back after that as it was quite late and we didn't want to walk about in the dark. Taxi wasn't that expensive though. Cost us only about $5 something and the ride was about 15 minutes only. The queue for taxi were very long but surprisingly it took us only half an hour to get the taxi. I would have thought it would take us more than one hour.
Alright, this post would be photoless since it's just continuation from previous post.
