When arrived there, oops I forgot to take down the address for the NZ embassy. Lucky darling did and we just walked about to look for the place. I knew it was somewhere near the Orchard Station but I didn't take down the exact directions. Oops.. wasted a bit of time looking around. Then after that, we went to find our hotel. It wasn't even 10 minutes walk because it took us more than that and were sweating so much after checking in and putting down the luggage. We even had to take our shower just to refresh ourselves before going out.
Still sweating a little after we came out from hotel though. It's normal I guess to sweat in hot weather. Went to see Marina Bay Sands hotel and the shopping mall. It rained heavily by 5 something. We couldn't go up the observatory because the waiting time for the rain to stop just took too long. Went to Orchard Road instead to walk about. That just sums up the end of our day.
We didn't do any shopping at the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall because the mall stuff looks so expensive and I do not think I can afford to buy any of the things there. Not sure about those personalized anniversary gift options though our anniversary was coming up fast. I guess we just have to think about what to buy or do in upcoming days. =)
