Believe it or not. I don't like to sleep alone in my own room. I think it is the fear of horror images being planted into my head when I was very young.
According to mum, I saw a horror film on a boat about dolls when we were on our way to our hometown. That would explain why I get scared of dolls and threw them away from me as far as possible, you know the kind of dolls that open their eyes when they sit up and close their eyes when they lie down. Eee.. that just creeps me out.
I think it got worse as I grew older because my primary school friends scared me with more ghost stories. Even more ghost stories as I was in my teenage years. I think I was scared of the dark at one point.
I was lucky to have my sisters sharing bedrooms with me. Otherwise I would be running to my parent's bedroom, scared.
Actually, I did at one point. I am not ashamed to say this because the fear is real. I cannot deny that I won't get scared in the future.
I try to watch horror movies to try to get over little by little.
There was one time I got tricked into playing this online maze and poof... I cried when I saw the image and I couldn't sleep properly that night. Well, not that I can sleep if I am conscious of something.
I actually knew something was going to happen but didn't expected that. The last time I was home, the two sis was playing something on the computer and I heard a scream. I didn't rush over because I knew it was something that scared her. I kind of expected that when they started playing.
