Weather not good

I probably mentioned that I have a job now. That is, it will be until early March. This time, I learnt more on the admin part. I did some basic data entry and filing. I saw the moving of the computers and most of the office stuff from the original card centre office to the UCSA common room upstairs. I have wondered about it but I wasn't sure if they transported or they just move the computers manually. They were transported by truck even though the two locations were 3 minutes walk. =P I sound pathetic. Hehe..

Right, some time ago, I blogged about reading the book on Married to God. I finished reading it last month and have been procastinating on typing it out. Well, it was the Christmas and New Year week that made me busy for a while. Anyway, here goes the summary of what I learnt from the book.

Purpose of marriage - for children, intimacy and sex for service of God. The point of marriage institution and heart of marriage. Some people may question is it better to stay single or not, well it depends if the particular person can self-control. If not, then might as well get married. However, the person cannot simply divorce once married. It does make me think a lot about marriage ever since I finish reading the book. The most important thing in a marriage is the wife must submit to husband and husband must not be harsh to wife. (Colossians 3: 18-19)

One must not put career, or any other ahead of marriage though. I also learnt that some people may find themselves single for the rest of the life. This just means that they do not have the gift of marriedness, and you will never know if you have the gift or not until you marry. Everyone is free to marry.
