End of Holidays

How about a post on my two-month holiday in Qatar?

I shall enlighten my readers with photos and some of my previous posts. I don't really go out much ever since veep and dad started school and working. They had a 3-week break/winter break in December. And getting back to the normal routine life do makes you feel ugrh..

Actually, I can't remember much of what I have been doing apart from bumming around.

There's the rain in the desert and the view. I saw this boat thingy in Villagio shopping mall which is only 10 minutes drive from my house. I don't think it's worth it to sit in it from one end of the shopping mall to the other end. If you walk, you can go in the shops somemore. Isn't it better?

Actually, before this image above, we (Tings', Fungs', Hiis') went to the Sealine beach and the suoq in town. So what's the difference between this Doha beach and the other beaches in the world? Well, this beach is a desert beach and full of small sized grained sand. I bet no one look at how big is the sand sized.

Anyway, it was at least something that I have done on Doha.I got to sit on the camel for the first time. It was exciting and terrifying at the same time.

In the souq, there are lots of old antique things. I am not really that interested in buying antique stuff so I only looked around.

I also spent time browsing and reading magazines and story books that I brought over. There's this book shelf of books where I browsed for more interesting story books and magazines to read, in the clubhouse in the centre of the compound area where I stayed. I also go to the gym in the clubhouse very often. I believe that I am getting fit and losing a bit of fats. =) And oh, when you're exercising, you can also watch your favourite programme or just listen to the music channels. Isn't that fun? You can kill two birds with one stone. [over the two-month period]

Sometimes, we also had 'makan' times, it means lunches or dinners gathering.

Browsing through magazines and looking at fashion blog site were also what I have been doing. Learning on how to put eye liners properly, playing games on the laptop, sometimes hanging out in the supermarket while the parents were buying groceries after church. Or watching movies when the six of us had free time. Or the fun in eating Krispy Kreme? =P

Wanted to go to Qatar Open but the tickets was sold out already by the time we wanted to buy.

Then, there's the Chinese New Year celebration, be it lunch, dinner or dinner.

That ends my post of two-month holidays in Qatar. I shall look forward eh?

Phew, finally done. So many links to link.

Sidenote: Check out Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso.

I really like the screens on the sony laptops but to be honest the price is the thing that shys me away from buying them. I tend to stick with Hewlet Packard now!
