Anyway, I was asked by Emma why I did not go to church with someone else since I was complaining so much about going alone. Well, I could have gone to church with her, only that the church she went is a Christchurch Chinese Church, it is not a Catholic Church. I did not go to church for 2 weeks the first time I was in Christchurch. I did not want to go to other churches. I am not sure why I thought like that. Maybe I was too shy that time or what.. Going alone to church isn't going to stop me not going at Catholic Church at all. It is my choice to go to Catholic Church and alone.
*Ok, to confirm again, Emma did not exactly say that, she said somewhere along the line that I shouldn't just stop going to church because I'm alone. Ok, I'm just lazy to change the above so I am correcting it here. :)
Ok, enough about the rambling.
I cooked last night. I think I'm starting to get this habit of eating while I'm cooking. I get hungry while cooking so I would took a bite or eat something else. Like Emma, I would be 40% full before dinner. However, I would be eating only 60% of the dinner. Hmm.. no wonder the leftovers are taking up the space in the fridge. Well, at least I don't have to cook all the time but I do enjoy cooking it. Only, I don't like to wash up COS I have done the cooking. How I wish mum is here to cook and I WASH instead. :D
Anyways, these are the dishes that Emma and I cook.
I used the steamer for the first time and my pork mince turned out like this. Isn't quite like what mum cooks. Hmm.. maybe there's something wrong.. can anyone suggest? Mum?
Emma cooked this curry but it is not very spicy. Not bad though. :)
I just wanted to finish all the veges in the fridge so I took out whatever we had in the past week and cook them. So, it will look weird if you haven't seen it before. Muahahaha.. don't care anyway, Emma, Anu and I just ate them. Anu didn't mind me cook like that. :)
The ABC soup, which Emma tried to copy her mum. According to her, it doesn't taste or look like what her mum cooks.
Last but not least, I have no idea what the veges is but I know I saw mum cooking these veges before so this turns out the way I want it to be. :D

Hahahhaha.. looks like you and Emma are trying hard to copy your mums' cooking. Sometimes no matter how we try, it just turns out different. I recall my mum always trying to copy making dishes Mama could make best.. but just taste different and my dad usually says, "It's completely different from what Mama cooks.." same ingredients but different hands? LOL!
Yealo.. mayb I shd just stick to my own cooking but make sure i do eat a lot when i go to london.

To clarify things, I used the curry sauce thingy to cooked. I followed the instructions exactly but doesn't work.

the food looks great, the pork/egg dish, i think u need to add corn flour or less liquid, generally, it looks gd, maybe can add some colour to it, spring onions? curry looks too watery but its not bad, can consider adding tomatoes, potatoes and toes? haha.. jk neways, nothing much i can comment about the vegs as it looks pretty standard. u could also consider adding the egg plants to the curry. ABC soup, i don't know so don't dare to comment :P hehe...
and jaz, going to church alone is not a bad thing, i go to church alone all the time la.. u could consider joining alter servers then could make frens with them. :D
curry actually has potatoes in it Os, its just not visible =D anywayz, i think the curry was and is an utter failure. oh well, i will just eat my mum's.
hohoho.. so is the food explanation enuf? do i need to elaborate more? hhmm..
yaya.. gd elaboration. i think i should start a recepi blog :P haha the curry, u could add more chopped onions and create the aroma and texture. oh ye, and since u added potatoes de, just let it cook longer and the starch of the potatoes would make it look nicer :D
next time ask jaz to cook curry for u la.. hehe

Did you add water to ur pork+egg dish? Maybe that's why it looks soupy. Normally I just stir mince meat + egg + soy sauce and that's it. :)
Anonymous: I dun hv to add water and there's a lot of excess water, anyway, mum said that I din put in one ingredient so i think that is why it din turn out the way mum cooked.
