After arriving Christchurch, I moved my stuff from my friend's house with the help of Lynn Xuan's friend (also my friend). I didn't get to sleep till that night. Emma helped me to unpack and rearrange my stuff. I slept at 9pm that night, I didn't sleep much in the plane and before I arrive Christchurch airport, I had coke and tea to make sure I don't go to sleep till night.
The next day, Emma and I went to the Ilam outing organised by the RAs. I didn't know where we are going so I didn't prepare anything. We both ended getting sunburnt. My face was really red. We also met some new people and also introduce ourselves. It is nice to get to know new faces. I got to know some new malaysian faces as well. They are from KL though, not from Sarawak. Anyway, after the outing, we went to The Warehouse. I bought some hooks and containers to put my clothes, there aren't enough spaces in the wardrobe for me to put my clothes. I put my luggages in there as well. As for the container, I left it outside the wardrobe.
Monday... classes begun. After I have been to the bank and paying my fees, I went straight to classes. Actually, I only have one class that day. After finishing, Emma and I meet up and had lunch in uni. I set up my internet that day with SNAP and pay $88 for the whole year, plus $120 for the data connection. After that, I left to go back to my room. Emma and I went to visit Liyana that evening to get my stuff as well. On our way, we visited fish in R & R Hall, he moved back in as he paid for the room earlier. Anyway, I got my internet working that night as I got my cable back. I also slept in my room that night after vacuuming the room.
Tuesday.. I woke up early and on the computer. Good thing, mum was online. I talked to them for a while. I haven't load my photos so I can't show them my room. But now, I have loaded in my blog so go ahead and see them :) Anyway, I have few classes that day. Emma and I met up during lunch to get free lunch, sausages.. hhehehe.. After that, she went to classes while I went back to my room, waiting for Liyana and Emma to come back to go shopping together.
Emma and I had dinner at the mall after our shopping. After coming back, we had flat meeting. Didn't say much, only that we have to clean up our own stuff. Well, I'm fine with that. But the sink there, it's still not tidy. Things are thrown around. So dirty. Yea.. Lynn Xuan, I understand how you feel.
Anyway, Wednesday, we went out early to help set up the booth for ICF. It was clubs day and we were helping. I had few classes that day but came back in the afternoon to help out. Well, I didn't really help out that much, I only sat there to make sure we got a lot of enthusiastic people in ICF. Heehe.. anyway, we went for bible study at Mark's house that evening and ate pizza for dinner. Good to see new faces as well. At about 8pm, we went back to Ilam, we went to see how the old flats look like and went to the common room to chill out. :) We came back early cos I was tired at 9.30pm. hhmm..

Well, we just gotta bear with it. Need high level of tolerance. On my side here, I am hoping that my new housemates can all be cooperative and clean.... I have had enough previously.
Yea.. and u know wat? They dun keep the sink clean or keep their stuff, dun even wash their own plates after using. So dirty and untidy.. haih.. Emma has to do them.
Oh my, that doesn't sound good at all. At least must clean up their own things. But believe me, they are people like that. I've heard of people leaving all their mugs and plates in the sink even though they were going back hometown for vacation... imagine!
hehe... same as one of my flat mates as well.. used him mugs and plates and almost never wash them immediately.. i even had to take out my reserver plates to use eh.. hehe.. but gd thing we have a cleaner that come once a week to clean things up... :D
this is just most basic hygiene yet people simply cannot afford to observe. how sad is that. i mean, sometimes we're in a rush and all that, maybe might leave it.. but we cannot make it a habit. oh well... so far i haven't seen leftover dishes in my sink so i hope it's good news.
haha.. gd lo ur flat mates.. mine is not bad, only 1 does it thank God... but yeah.. hopefully next yr it won't happen.. :D
Yes, trust me, I can't stand them leaving the stuff there and not clean them, the sink is so dirty as well. The cooking place is also very dirty, I wanted to clean it but I dun wan them to take it for granted that I will do it for them. I am def moving out to a flat of my own next year and i'm hoping to move in with frens whom I know is CLEAN. as in know how to tidy up stuff. Shesshh..

Yes.. I am very mad.. I'm staying there also la. so need to treat it like it's ur house or flat. sure hv to clean ma. can't expect other ppl to clean rite?
I am stressed out on this matter currently, too. I am starting to wonder if I'm just some fussy person... is it just me?? Now I wish I stayed with Jas. I can clean. She can tidy. We can both keep it clean and tidy. How awesome.

i din say my cooking is better than hers, i was just saying her cooking mite be better than urs.. hahaha :P and if u want to taste my cooking, u would have to come and taste them urselves ;)
