Yay!

On Monday, mum and I went to Central London. There's a lot of train services in London. The photo below shows the train services. Mum and I took the red line called the Central Line from Ealing Broadway (at one dead end) to Bond Street. There, we had to change the train to the grey line, which is the Jubilee line to London Bridge. The trains services are cool, though I don't like how the train starts accelerating fast and keep stopping. It gives me headache.

This is the train services map I got from the stations

London Bridge

It's a bit dark

So, we came from London Bridge station and guess what I saw. A poster of Fergie and her latest singles, London Bridge. I don't like the music though the song is nice. Mum and I took photos of the London Bridge. We took quite a long time figuring out which bus route to take. Finally we walked across a bridge. (have no idea what the bridge is called, definitely not London Bridge) We went in Monument Station and took the train to Mansion House. St Paul's Cathedral was just around the corner. Photos, of course.

In front, I took this in the bus cos we did not go to the front to take photos

After that, we took bus number 11. I took numerous photos while we were in the bus. I don't think I know some of the places in the photos.

We stopped in Westminster.

We walked to Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of Britain's sovereigns since 1837.

It evolved from a town house that was owned from the beginning of the eighteenth century by the Dukes of Buckingham. Today it is The Queen's official residence, with 775 rooms.

Although in use for the many official events and receptions held by The Queen, areas of Buckingham Palace are opened to visitors on a regular basis.

St James Park

After that, mum and I walked across St James Park to Victoria Station to take the train to Tottenham Court Road Station. I think we change trains to go to Keningston Station to see Harrods. It's a pity we did not get to go to the premiere of Casino Royale, the latest James Bond movie but we did saw the display outside Harrods. We also went to Leicester Square where we found Chinatown.

After that, we took the train again to Bond Street. While waiting for the day to get darker and the Christmas lights to light up, we window shopped along the streets. But when the lights came on, it wasn't as nice as I expected. Sigh... we went back after that. I think I had enough of trains that day after I reached home. Headache... headache...

Cool, I have actually went to the some of the places that appear in the Monopoly game.

On Tuesday, I stayed home to help mum clean and clear out the other bedroom. It is actually a nice bedroom but I don't think I want that bedroom if I am staying here to study. I want a bigger room and that would be your room, Sherp!! Hohoho! and you did say that you want the smaller bedroom. It's definitely twice the size of my bedroom both in Wellington and Christchurch. In the afternoon, mum and I made donut. I kept eating after the first serving, "Never trust a skinny cook".
