Ball Season

Well.. looks like it's the ball season again...

On Friday night, I went to the Christian Ball with study group friends. It was held in Lincoln University. It felt weird going back there, the last time I was there was 2 years ago. The theme for the ball is 1930s even the songs.
That night, Liyana sleptover at my room, I borrowed blankets from Emma and a friend so that Liyana can sleep on the blanket and not feel the hard floor. Hehe! We talked while falling asleep, reminding me of the cousins days in Miri. I miss that..

On Saturday morning, Liyana came to breakfast with me. I got a txt from Sherp, I told everything thinking it was mum. Emma came over to my room and the three of us did our work while hanging out. Well, both Emma and I did our work while Liyana was online on my laptop. After lunch, both of them left while I continued to do my homework. Anu came back from work at 3pm. After having her late lunch, she straightened my hair. I have to rush back to eat my early dinner.

After dinner, Liyana and Emma were there to help Anu with my make up. I certainly look different. Sherp said that dad said I look different when I sent the pictures. Hehe! Anyway, I was going to go on my bus at 6pm but make up took a long time. So, I followed Song Po and Yeubert. Song Po drove there as they will be coming back early. I followed back too. We had to take the gondola up actually in the dark. There were no lights in the gondola but the views of Christchurch at night was really nice. We tried to take photos but it turned out really dark. We didn't manage to get photos taken by the professionals but just on of our own. It isn't as nice as the ones taken by professionals though. I reached Anu's place at about 9 something and they all got ready to go into town (means that pubs). As Emma and Liyana haven't been out before, Anu said we should bring them. We came back at nearly 2am and I went to bed straight after that.
