Last weekend was an interesting week. On Friday night, the hall had bbq and also gave out free alcohol. Not wanting to be left out not taking the beer, I took a few sips and threw it away. It was really bitter. When they took out the beers/alcohol, all others charged like bulls te get them. It was crazy. Nearly the end, they gave the girls KGB vodka=lemon. That was really nice, like the ones that I had when I was at Uncle Rudoplh's house in Oman. I think I was really red and all friends thought I was drunk. I wasn't though. After that, a few of us went to play badminton. You could imagine a few drunk people trying to play badminton(I wasn't drunk or else I couldn't describe what happen that night). We played for one hour. Katie, Young and I watched movie,Topgun in Brian's room ater that. The movie was really nice and we all had fun.
On Saturday night, there was a party at the third floor of the Wilson building where I am staying in. They set up the disco light in the corridor and had loud music on. I think all the others from other buildings also came along. I didn't dance because I'm not a fan of dancing. I just walked to and fro in the corridor. I was thinking of studying earlier on but how can you study with the loud music on, plus it was night and no one wants to walk to the library with me. I just catched up with my friends whom I haven't seen all week. At 11.30pm, they headed to town. I wasn't going to go in the first place but my friends kept persuaded me and promised to look after me. After an hour hesitation, I decided to go provided that they bring me home early. It was really cold that night. There were a lot of people all around the streets. I couldn't believe so many people would go into town at night. I feel safe as there were a lot of people I know from my hall. Before you go into the pub/club, they have to check your ID. I thought it was boring as it is all dancing and I am not a fan of dancing. I told myself this is the last time ever I am going into town, I rather watch movie actually. At about 2.30am, I asked my friends to bring me home. I have to get rest as I have badminton competition on Sunday. I won my frist double but lost my second double. I should have go for singles. I was afriad to play singles as I would look like a lousy player if I lost or don't even know how to play. Well, I watched them playing and I thought I could have won if I played for singles. Well, too late to change then. I met lots of Malaysian there. Some from Pahang, Kuching, etc.
