Muscat-21 January 2006

It’s another day trip to Muscat. Mum, Sherlene and Ivy were left at City Centre while dad and I went to change the car ownership to an Omani guy. So the car is officially sold. Wow… so many sellings.. even our house and car in NZ was also sold. After the business, we went to Malaysian Embassy. It was hard trying to find the place when you are only given the address. And I thought I would always look for personality when I meet the opposite sex. When I saw the Omani guy, the first thing I notice about him is that he got long eye lashes. At first, I thought it was a fake eye lashes, the more closely I looked, it becomes real. Hahaha! It was already nearly 1pm so dad and I went to McDonalds for lunch ourselves. Poor mum, Sherlene and Ivy had their lunch by themselves. After lunch, dad and I drove to City Centre. We went back to Sur in the afternoon.

I don’t know what is wrong with the electricity as it kept tripping. This morning, I had to brush my teeth in the dark. Also to make sure I didn’t take the wrong toothbrush, Sherlene’s was pink and mine was blue (same kind of toothbrush). Then, mum heated fried rice for all of us. Sherlene and I were talking and eating when suddenly, we were in the dark. Poor us, we had to eat fried rice in the dark.

The next day, dad called the electrician to repair it. They found out that it was the power that was causing the tripping. The electrician called the power guy and they replace the ‘thing’ ( I don’t know what it is called). The electrician showed mum and I the ‘thing’.
