Cousins Week Part 4

Friday

Cousins went to King’s Seafood Café for breakfast in the morning. After breakfast, Aunt Nora took us (ting’s family) shopping. Besides shopping, we also met up our second cousin, Tommy who came all the way from Bintulu. He treated us at McDonalds and bowling.

When it was almost noon, Aunt Nora sent us to Boulevard for lunch. About 3 pm (I should think so), Uncle Frederick and Aunt Nora came to pick us up. I bought an engineering physics book, hoping to read it in Oman but so far, I haven’t started it yet.

There was dinner at Ning jie’s house that night. I always have hiccups after drinking coke. Lynthia hit me all of the sudden and I lost my hiccups which was great.

“I was watching this series when yiyi (aunt, referring to mum) came in. After 5 minutes, she told me the story ending. Yiyi did not even watch the beginning or the end.” Lynn Xuan was telling all of us.

Yea.. I think mum can predict movie ending. She predicted all the movies she has watched.

Saturday

Got up early in the morning to go jogging with Uncle Frederick and Lynn Xuan. At 9.45am, Lynn Xuan and I picked up Lawrence with Ning Jie driving. Went to Parkson to watch Narnia and then to King’s Seafood for late lunch.

Grandma treated us dinner at Maxim that night. After that, went to Taman Awam for a walk. It was our last night in Miri.

I met up with Houng Ding again as I need to give her something. She gave me something too.

Jinn Yuan koko arrived in Miri late at night and came over to the Wong’s house. Ning Jie, Ivy, Lynna, Abelle and I were laughing hard at Lynn Xuan’s jokes and Jinn Yuan koko came in the room and told us his stories in a ghostly voice. It made us scared.

Sunday

Went to breakfast at centre point. Ah Yuan koko took Ning Jie, Lynn Xuan, Lynthia, Sherlene and me as we were a bit late. Had to sit at separate table as there were too many of us.

After breakfast, Uncle Goh ( older Uncle, Ning jie’s dad) drove us to Brunei as our flight was scheduled to fly at night.

Abelle’s family and grandma also came and treated us lunch. After that, Uncle Goh took us to a shopping complex where he treated us mini ice creams balls. It was a pity that none of us brought camera. I thought of bringing it home but it melted as soon as I stepped outside.

Later, we checked in at the airport at 6pm and flight was at 8pm.

Monday

We went straight to Palm Beach Hotel after we arrived in Dubai early in the morning. After sleeping for a few hours, we got up and took a walk around the area. We found Carrefour and Ivy bought another tamagotchi. She was so happy till she kissed mum. Haha!

Then, left for airport at 10.45pm and checked in immediately. The plane took off early as there were only a few people on board. We were supposed to reach there early but was delayed because we lost one luggage. I was so pissed off as all my camera wires and mp3 wires were in it. I don’t want the money, just want my wires back. The officer seemed reluctant and unfriendly when dad asked for one of his friends who works there. In the afternoon, mum went to Muscat Eye Laser Centre to check her eyes if she was able to go for surgery to correct her vision and her operation was scheduled on Thursday.
