Last weekend, I went to Eugene’s school ball. It was fun. In the beginning, we went to pre-ball in Whitby with some of his friends at another friend’s house. The house was very nice, stylish and probably they are very rich. The boys took photos while their partners stayed indoors and chat among themselves. When it was time to go, we went in ‘Subaru’ sports car. Wahlau! The driver drove really fast and had a headache in the end. But it went away when the car stopped. Hehe! So, the ball was held at 2nd floor of Tepapa Museum. It was transformed from plain area to lots of dining tables and chairs and also the dance floor. A little bit of introduction at the entrance (I should think it was teachers or some VIP). The food was better than the food at my ball. We had some photos taken by the professional photographer from the school. There were some slow dancing (use your imagination). Overall, it was great. It was a night to remember though. HAHAHA! The ball finished at midnight, like a Cinderella story. J But it was another start for after party. We had to go a hotel room where a friend of his rented to change into comfortable clothes. Then, we walked to the after party. It wasn’t what I expected to be in my imagination. I thought it would be a nice place with lots of tables and chairs and usually, loud music. BUT, the place doesn’t have those nice tables or chairs, only loud music. This time, I did not danced with him, instead with my friends. At 3am, we sat down, I was near to fall asleep when my friend woke me up by laughing at me. A more obvious one is when one of Eugene’s friend talked to me, I can barely open my eyes but I was aware of the noise. So, in the end, at about 4am, we all decide to go home. My friend, Kate’s partner, Hamish’s dad came to pick us just across the Queen’s Wharf. We walked down from the after party. There were just the four of us walking down the streets. Eugene and I were dropped off at the pre-ball house and he drove us home. I reached home approximately 5.30am in the morning. My first really late night out. Hmmm… if I can stay up so late, I am planning to do the same in Miri. What do you think?
