On 7 Dec (just one day after I arrived in Oman), my dad annouced that we are going to Dubai. We took the Emirates package that includes the accomodation at The Pearl Residence. It's a 3 star hotel. We arrived at the hotel at noon time. I took the opportunity to take every pictures of the hotel room (every corner).
Then we went to the nearest shopping centre. There were a lot of computer shops around. I think we were in the computer city (hahaha!). Dad ordered the Mcdonald food for us. The meal was an MacArabic burger, not exactly a common burger u see. The kind of roti canai burger (Don't know how to explain). Only those who's staying in Middle East knows that.
After our lunch, we went to TechnoCity. Nothing much there because most of the shop were closed. Mum saw some tourist carrying Carrefour plastic bags and asked them for the direction. As we were walking, we stopped at shops to buy my Mp3 player. It's CREATIVE brand, made from Malaysia, imported by Singapore. it's only DHS 800. Carrefour seems very far away when we walked. According to the directions given, Carrefour is only few minutes walk and we walked for about 30 minutes. Then, there were no taxi to send us back to the hotel so we had to walk again. This time, we took the shortcut. We reached the hotel at 9 pm. I had sore FEET that night. I can't even walk to the bathroom to take my shower. It's like you cannot feel or move your feet.
